A cable machine drives a flexible steel cable down the drain and spins it under power. With the right cutting head on the end, that cable breaks apart the blockage and scrapes buildup off the pipe wall, so the line drains at full diameter again — not just enough to limp along until next month.

When Jetting Is the Better Call
Heavy grease and scale sometimes need water pressure rather than a cable. See hydro jetting — we will tell you which one your line actually needs.
Cable machine (snaking) is the right first call for most household clogs: a specific blockage, a root mass, or an object in the line. It is faster, cheaper, and it clears the obstruction directly.
Hydro jetting makes more sense when the whole pipe is coated — years of grease in a restaurant line, or heavy scale — and you want the pipe scoured back to full diameter.
Most of our calls are solved with a cable machine. We will say so when jetting is not worth the extra cost.
